Due to unforseen circumstances beyond our control, our phone transition during our move did not proceed as planned. If you are a current client, please call Jennifer's cell phone. OCTOBER 9, 2009-

SAD NEWS: Jocelyn will no longer be our office maven. She plans to pursue her dream of being a writer-she's going to be famous someday, mark our words!

HAPPY NEWS: We're going to be moving! On October 26th we will be moving to 3717 N Ravenswood, just north of Addison & Lincoln, and behind Trader Joe's and CB2. We will be across the hall from Mother Me. Once again we find ourselves in proximity to like minded colleagues!

We thank The Nest for allowing us to share their space for the past two years, and will continue to refer clients to them.

Thanks to all of our clients and business colleagues for your support. We're excited to be embarking on the next chapter in our story, and are happy for all of you to be a part of it!
JULY 22, 2009-After over six months of searching and many closed doors, A Woman's Place is disappointed to report that we are temporarily ceasing our search for a new hospital. Our relationship with Dr. Munoz remains the same, and non emergent transfers will be under her care at Rush University Medical Center. We are now offering home birth exclusively, and are exploring other ways in which we can expand our practice. We anticipate resuming our search in six months to one year. Thank you, everyone, for your support!
DECEMBER 29, 2008-Effective today, A Woman's Place is no longer affiliated with Norwegian American Hospital. Our relationship with our collaborating physician, Dr. Maria Munoz, remains the same. We will be actively pursuing privileges at another hospital. Stay tuned for details!

DECEMBER 2, 2008-We are pleased to introduce Lynne Wycoff, RN, a nurse of many years of experience in home, hospital and birth center births. She will attend home births with the CNMs and do home visits for women choosing a home birth. Welcome, Lynne!
